In order to check the work of promoting development in eastern, western and northern Guangdong, to further implement “three grippers (focuses)”, on the afternoon of Jul. 24^th, Member of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Provincial Committee Hu Chunhua inspected Sino-German Metal Eco City project, accompanied by Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee Chen Lyuping and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Municipal Committee and Mayor Chen Dong.

    The delegation inspected on site the roads construction in the park and the construction site of Sino-German Yelyubao Resources Regeneration Base. In the project exhibition hall, Hu Chunhua listened to the report in detail about the under-construction projects and the information of admission enterprises.

    Since last March for the first time to visit and investigate the Metal Enterprises Union of Jieyang, Hu Chenhua have spoken highly of the operating pattern of Sino-German Metal Eco City, which is leaded by the CPC Committee, guided by the government, dominated by the association and operated by the market. Hu expected Sino-German Metal Eco City to be constructed into an important platform for cooperation between Guangdong and Germany.As Sino-German cooperation develops better, Hu Chunhua has met with Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit and other politicians to broaden cooperative areas and deepen cooperative connotation so as to promote Sino-German economic and trade cooperation with great-leap-forward development in the political level.

    In the inspection, Hu Chunhua highly appreciated the cooperation with Germany in Sino-German Metal Eco City project, the development ideas of environmental protection and sustainable development, the ways of introducing German and international advanced technology and promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, as well as the park construction effectiveness.

    Xu Shaohua, Lin Musheng and other provincial leaders also attended the inspection. Secretary of the CPC Jiedong District Committee Wu Pinghe and head of ZhongDe Metal Group Wu Kedong made reports.
