“This is the first timeI visit Jieyang, but I’ve liked it here already.” said Bertram Brossardt in his interview of Aug. 12^th, CEO of the Bavarian Industry Association (vbw) and the Bavarian Metalworking and Electrical Employers (bayme vbm), who was deeply impressed by Jieyang’s unique insight and powerful execution.

    From the concept, planning and design of Sino-German Metal Eco City to the follow-up rapid construction, Brossardt appreciates Jieyang people’s courage of thinking and taking actions and responsibilities. “Jieyang people hold the future in their hands and work efficiently. Once they have ideas, they plan and do step by step. Here in Jieyang, I find the good conditions for the vbw. ” In conversations with Brossardt, he expressed his wish for further cooperation with Jieyang.

    Set a house for example, Brossardt compared the vbw to the roof structure because the vbw covers all industries in Bavaria, representing 118 Bavarian associations, among which the bayme vbm is the largest one. On the one hand, the bayme vbm has rich enterprise resources including BMW, Audi, Siemens and other 2500 enterprise members. On the other hand, Sino-German Metal Eco City as a platform lays the solid foundation for the cooperation. “I’m confident in the cooperation and the future cooperation space and prospects are quite broad.” said Brossardt.

    When talking about the basic factor of the mutual cooperation, Brossardt said that German people paid more attention to the down-to-earth work and the long-term cooperation. “With the high-speed modern development, I know many people may care about short-term effect. But I think the long-term cooperation is more important, which is with a long-term planning built on the basis of mutual trust to pursue mutual benefits.” Brossardt expressed his hope to introduce Bavarian enterprises to frequently come to Jieyang for investigation and communication, for seeking deeper and comprehensive cooperation with Jieyang.
