On Oct.22^nd, CEO of RSBK GmbH Rudolf Scharping visited the Metal Enterprises Union of Jieyang and had a meeting. He summed up the previous visit results between both sides, coordinated the follow-up work and further advanced the implementation of specific content of cooperation agreement. Deputy Secretary of Jieyang Municipal Party Committee, Mayor Chen Dong, and Executive Vice Mayor Chen Chengmin met Scharping and his wife. President of the MEUJ Wu Kedong, Executive President Lin Gengxing and Lin Zhongwei also attended the meeting.

    President Wu expresses sincere gratitude to Scharping, who has traveled thousands of miles to Jieyang for several times to deepen the cooperation. He points out that the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco-City fits well with the vision of Chinese government and German government, and that the higher the project’s level is, the heavier the task is. He emphasizes that the standard for enterprises entering the industrial park is quite high. Jieyang will maintain the core development concept of environmental protection and energy saving, try best to build a demonstration park in China, and provide the best supporting service in order to attract more German enterprises to enter the park and accomplish the real Sino-German cooperation.

    Scharping speaks highly of the high speed and the high effectiveness of the construction of Sino-German Metal Eco-City. And he says that this project is one to which he devotes his longest time and his most efforts.He hopes that each side will maintain good current development trend, and orderly carry out the cooperative project in the compact follow-up work. He says that the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, the biggest applied science research organization in German or even in Europe, and the German university, which was recommended by Carl Zeiss, will send a delegation to visit Jieyang in November. RSBK will fully cooperate in the preliminary negotiation of the agreement and the investment matters. Meanwhile RSBK will enhance the publicity among the German relevant Expos and contribute to another substantial jump of the Sino-German Metal Eco-City project.

President Wu emphasizes that the MEUJ will try best to build a demonstration park in China, and provide the best supporting service in order to attract more German enterprises to enter the park.
